Hello everyone,

 

Springbank Curling Club offers curling from Monday to Friday, Saturday Juniors and three bonspiels during the season.  Our season runs from the first Monday in October 2007 until the last week in March 2008.  We offer Monday Night Ladies, Tuesday and Wednesday Men's and Thursday and Friday Mixed.  Our bonspiels this year will be Ladies Bonspiel January 18-20, Men's February 8-10 and our Mixed Winespiel March 14-16.  Two rental leagues are our Wednesday Afternoon Ladies and Friday morning Seniors.  We are located at the corner of Springbank Road and Range Road 33, just south of Calaway Park.  The rink is about 10 mins west of the city limits.  We have 6 sheets of ice, lounge, concession in a facility that also houses 2 hockey rinks and an outdoor rink.   

 

Our registration night for the 2007-08 season will be Thursday September 13th from 7:00 to 9:00.  We will be taking payments for all teams and you can also purchase your Park membership at this time.  If you need a registration form before that night please contact susanthornton@telus.net or call 242-2223 ext 50.  You can always drop by the curling club and leave your form and payment with me and I will make sure the appropriate night representative receives your information.  We are looking for teams for Monday night Ladies, Wednesday night Men's and Friday night Mixed.  If you are interested in curling Sunday evenings we would like to start a new Open League on this night.  We would also like to start a Tuesday afternoon league.  If you are interest in either please call me and I will let you know more information.

 

The Springbank Park For All Seasons Fall Fair is on Saturday September 8th from 9 AM to 3 PM and you can register that day also.
