Junior Curling Program
The Springbank Curling Club maintains active Junior program.
The Jr. Program goal is to introduce curling to young people as a recreational winter sport. It also strives to develop the curling skills of these young curlers. Once the juniors have the basic skill we encourage those who are interested to try for competitive excellence.
It’s a great way to meet people and make friends, while learning a sport you can play for a lifetime. Anyone from the age of 8 to 18 is welcome in the Springbank junior curling program.
The 2009-2010 Junior Curling program starts October 24, after the much-anticipated Jr. Curling Camp on October 17, 2009. Register at the Springbank Fall Fair or contact us at curlinginfo@springbankcurling.com or phone the SPFAS at 403.242.2223 Ext 50
The program runs on Saturday mornings from 10:00 to 12:00. The fee is $50.00 per session (fall & winter) or $100.00 for the full year. Registration is on going.
The fee covers use of all the necessary equipment and facilities, instructors, and ice-time.
